When I was in my late teens I came across a fascinating book which covered different forms of natural healing. That book really spoke to me; I knew I had found something very special.
And although I wasn’t fully conscious of it at the time, I had found a signpost pointing the way to my life’s purpose.
Later, in the early 1980s, I was living in Barcelona and teaching English in a language school. I found Barcelona really turned on my creative juices and I began to experiment with drawing and painting in my spare time. I had already written and illustrated my first story when I was a young teenager, so when I had an idea for a story I decided to turn it into an illustrated book for children. This led to the publication of four of my books with Editorial Juventud in Barcelona, and two with Penguin (Puffin) books in the UK.
Meanwhile I had begun practicing Yoga and Transcendental Meditation, discovering how effective both were in bringing balance and well-being to the body, mind and spirit. I felt great and was well and truly hooked on alternative health care!
Thirsty for more knowledge, I enrolled on a distance learning diploma course in Nutrition purely as a hobby, and read as many books on natural healing as I could lay my hands on.
At that stage of my life becoming a holistic therapist hadn't even crossed my mind, but now, when I look back, it is clear that I had taken my first baby steps along the path to becoming a Natural Healthcare practitioner.
In the 90’s I returned to the UK and settled in Cardiff, and that was when my journey began in earnest. Since then I have studied a wide range of healing modalities and earned several qualifications:
Holistic Therapies: Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Swedish Body Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrition. I also trained as a Reiki practitioner and qualified in Indian Head Massage with Zodiac Complementary Therapies. (2000)
I qualified as an EFT practitioner with AMT (Association of Meridian Therapies) and trained in ThermoAuricular Therapy (Hopi Candles) with Pressuredown Therapies. (2001)
I qualified in Touch for Health Kinesiology with the International College of Kinesiology, Zurich, Switzerland and studied VRT (Vertical Reflexology) and ART (Advanced Reflexology Techniques). (2002)
In 2004 I became a Reiki Master and began running courses.
I qualified with a Distinction in Hypnotherapy with Chrysalis Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy Training in Cardiff. (2007)
In 2008 I qualified with Pressuredown Therapies in Holistic Seated Upper Body Massage.
In 2009, after eight years working as a certified EFT practitioner with AAMET (Association of Advanced Meridian Energy Techniques) I became an EFT Trainer and began to run EFT Practitioner courses.
In 2014 I became an accredited certified EFT Master Trainer with AAMET (now also known as AAMET International) .
In 2015 I qualified as a certified practitioner of Eden Energy Medicine with Innersource.
In 2016 I qualified as a Clinical Practitioner of Eden Energy Medicine with Innersource
In 2019 I qualified as a Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner
I have also studied Trigger Point therapy, Mindfulness, Cranio Sacral Therapy in Reflexology, Indian facial rejuvenation massage & Crystal Therapy.
I also hold a certificate in PTLLS Level 3 (Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) with City & Guilds 2011
The Present and Future
I am constantly attending courses and deepening my understanding of Energy Medicine - Energy Medicine is my passion, and I love to share my knowledge with my clients and anybody else who is interested.
I feel truly blessed to be doing this work!

Corporate work
Over a period of six years I won contracts to provide therapy services for the Welsh Government.
I have also visited many corporate sites in and around Cardiff - BMA, Halifax, BSC etc - offering Seated
Acupressure massage, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and Reflexology.
Insurance
I hold insurance with the CThA, the leading professional association representing sports, and complementary therapists in the UK and Ireland.
The Things I love
My wonderful family and friends. Being creative . My tiny back garden and all the bees and birds and flowers in it.
Staring at the sea in Cornwall or wherever. My work. And my home on planet Earth.
